Context

WebSparK is MotorK’s ready-to-use automotive website platform, enabling over 1,500 dealer websites to increase traffic acquisition and lead generation at scale. With over 70 features designed specifically for the industry, the platform is used by leading OEMs and dealer groups and generated more than 1 million leads to date.

Over time, I contributed to the continuous evolution of WebSparK, designing features, flows, and UI systems that supported this goal. The work spanned conversion-oriented UX, component scalability, and custom visual direction for premium clients.

Challenge

Designing for WebSparK meant balancing two critical needs:

  • Delivering a high-performing digital experience for end users, optimized for lead capture, mobile usage, and SEO.

  • Maintaining a flexible framework capable of adapting to multiple brands, countries, and dealership expectations, without fragmenting the platform.

Every touchpoint, from homepage to vehicle detail, had to support conversion paths that felt fast, trustworthy, and frictionless, while aligning with the brand identity of each dealership, from standard templates to fully custom layouts.

Design Process

UX Design for lead generation
I focused on the key areas that drive lead conversion:
vehicle listings, detail pages, CTAs, forms, filters, and homepage modules.
Each was designed with clarity, speed, and behavioral triggers in mind, reducing drop-offs and improving funnel performance.

Continuous optimization across devices
User journeys were crafted to work seamlessly across mobile and desktop, considering real-world dealership behavior and usage conditions. A/B tests and performance tracking guided iterative improvements.

Smart system, flexible output
I supported the development of a modular design system that served as the backbone for the product. Its purpose wasn’t just consistency, it enabled faster customization and adaptation for different clients, acting like a flexible theme engine.

Visual customization for premium clients
I also handled visual direction and layout adaptations for high-value clients, helping tailor the base theme to their brand while preserving the structural logic of the platform.

Integration with the CRM ecosystem
All lead-oriented flows were designed to integrate cleanly with LeadSparK, ensuring the data collected was not only complete, but actionable once passed into the CRM.

Lessons Learned

Designing for conversion at scale means working at the intersection of clarity, speed, and trust. This product taught me how to translate business goals into tangible UX strategies, especially when success depends on turning visits into leads.

It also reinforced the value of having the right foundation in place. A flexible design system isn’t just operationally efficient, it allows product teams to adapt, evolve, and respond quickly to both business and user needs.
